In Studio & virtual Lessons
Private Lessons:
Private lessons for all instruments are one-on-one. Students will learn how to read music, music theory, ear training, and instrumental technique. The instructor will also teach proper practice techniques. Monthly and semester packages are available at a discounted rate | 15, 30, 45, 60 minute options
Group Lessons:
Group lessons are designed for a minimum of two and a maximum of four students. This is a general setting where the instructor will teach basic music theory and note reading. Once the students graduate from group lessons, they can transfer to private lessons where they can apply their basic knowledge of music. | 30 minutes
Pay As You Go Lessons:
This program is the same as private lessons but with no long-term commitment. This is includes flexible scheduling and a tailored lesson plan according to the student's goals. | 30, 45, 60 minutes
Concerts & Competitions
CONCERTS
We encourage all students to participate in our yearly concerts and competitions. We host atleast two concerts a year and participate in the NorthEast Music Teachers Association (NEMTA) competition.
Every year, we host our highly anticipated holiday music concert which all students, families, and friends are invited to attend. In the summertime, we host an outdoor concert that includes a BBQ for everyone to enjoy.
COMPETITION
In the springtime, our students participate in the NEMTA competition. This is a three-day festival that consists of a variety of instrumental and vocal competitions. Here the students have the opportunity to perform in front of a judge, other students, and an audience. Upon completion, students receive certificate and commentary for each performance. Students have the opportunity to place 1st - 5th to receive a trophy.
Concerts and competitions are a great way to celebrate the importance of practicing. All of our students thrive when they set and reach attainable goals. At the end of the year, students are evaluated on their progress through written and performance evaluations.
Rehearsal Space
Our space is equipped with Kawai acoustic pianos, a Yamaha digital piano, Yamaha and Casio electric keyboards, acoustic and electric drumset, acoustic guitars, and amplifiers. Other instruments and accessories are provided by request. We carry a variety of microphones and cables of different lengths for any use.
TIME SLOTS
Rehearsal space is available by appointment.
Weekends are also available by appointment.
Instrument Rental & sales
Our school participates in the rental and sales of K&S Music instruments. We offer rentals and sales for a variety of instruments such as flutes, violins, trumpets, saxophone, clarinets and more. There are different packages available for short term or long term usage. A percentage of the rental fee can be applied to the purchase of the chosen instrument.
We also sell new instruments directly from our store. Contact us for our inventory of used instruments. We have instruments in stock available for immediate purchase. Come and check out what we have to offer!
Recording
Recording is available for solo singers, poets, and instrumentalists as well as small bands consisting of up to four members. All instruments in the school are available for use. Requests are met on demand.
