In Studio & virtual Lessons
Private Lessons:
Private lessons for all instruments are one-on-one. Students will learn how to read music, music theory, ear training, and instrumental technique. The instructor will also teach proper practice techniques. Monthly and semester packages are available at a discounted rate | 15, 30, 45, 60 minute options
Group Lessons:
Group lessons are designed for a minimum of two and a maximum of four students. This is a general setting where the instructor will teach basic music theory and note reading. Once the students graduate from group lessons, they can transfer to private lessons where they can apply their basic knowledge of music. | 30 minutes
Pay As You Go Lessons:
This program is the same as private lessons but with no long-term commitment. This is includes flexible scheduling and a tailored lesson plan according to the student's goals. | 30, 45, 60 minutes
Concerts & Competitions
CONCERTS
We encourage all students to participate in our yearly concerts and competitions. Each year, we host at least two concerts, including our much-anticipated holiday music concert, which invites all students, families, and friends. Additionally, we participate in the NorthEast Music Teachers Association (NEMTA) competition.
During the summertime, we also organize an outdoor concert featuring a BBQ, creating a fun environment for everyone to enjoy.
COMPETITION
In the spring, our students take part in the NEMTA competition, a three-day festival that showcases a variety of instrumental and vocal competitions. This event allows students to perform in front of judges, peers, and an enthusiastic audience. After their performances, students receive certificates and constructive commentary. They also have the chance to earn trophies by placing 1st through 5th.
Concerts and competitions serve as excellent opportunities to celebrate the significance of consistent practice. All our students flourish as they set and achieve attainable goals. At the end of the year, we evaluate each student's progress through written assessments and performance evaluations.
Rehearsal Space
Our rehearsal space is equipped with Kawai acoustic pianos, a Yamaha digital piano, Yamaha and Casio electric keyboards, acoustic and electric drumsets, acoustic guitars, and amplifiers. We also provide other instruments and accessories upon request. Additionally, we carry a variety of microphones and cables of different lengths suitable for any use.
TIME SLOTS
Rehearsal space is available by appointment, including weekends, which can also be scheduled by appointment.
Instrument Rental & sales
Our school is actively involved in the rental and sales of K&S Music instruments. We provide a range of rentals and sales for various instruments, including flutes, violins, trumpets, saxophones, clarinets, and more. We offer different packages suitable for both short-term and long-term usage. Additionally, a portion of the rental fee can be credited towards the purchase of the selected instrument.
We also sell brand new instruments directly from our store. For those interested in used instruments, please contact us to inquire about our current inventory. We have a variety of instruments in stock that are available for immediate purchase. Come and explore what we have to offer!
Recording
We offer recording services for solo singers, poets, and instrumentalists, as well as for small bands with up to four members. All instruments available at our school can be utilized during your recording session. We are committed to meeting your requests on demand. Whether you're looking to create a demo of a single track or a full CD, our team is here to accommodate your needs with various packages designed to fit your budget!
